Good news!

My sister and Chad took Carly over to  Childrens today to get her spine checked out. It ended up not being a tumor, it's a vein abnormality. I've never heard of it, but the doctor said it can't be cured, only controlled. I'm just relieved that it's not a tumor, and nothing serious. Especially the fact that it was growing on her spine!

I talked to my friend Tara this morning, and she's kind of going through the same thing I am (minus pregnancy). Her boyfriend got her a promise ring, which will end up being their engagement ring when they get engaged. He told her he wants to get land out by his mom's and put a trailor on it. It'd be an hour south of Mt. Vernon, and her job is 15 minutes north of Mt. Vernon. So we're both kind of in the same boat on what to do, and that made me feel so relieved that someone I'm close to is making hard decisions also.

She waited a month to tell me though, because she didn't want me to think they were rushing. They've only been together for 6 months, but I've met him a few times and he's such a great guy. I can tell she's generally happy, and I'm very happy for her and that she's found a good guy.

I'm craving chicken fettucine from the Olive Garden and Long John Silvers so bad! Highland sucks for not having either. If Rob is still able to come this week, I'm begging for Long John Silvers! lol I have been craving it for a while now. Chicken, fries, crumbs! YUM :)
