Long time, No blog!

I haven't had much time to blog, because I officially moved in with Rob over the weekend, and we've been enjoying our new lives together. He came up Friday and we got some of my stuff, then came back on Saturday and got some more. I still have a few more things I need to get, like Blake's dressers, a crock pot, coffee pot, my shoes, more sheets, ect.

The apartment is coming together quite nice, and I'm really loving it here. There are still boxes that I need to go through and put stuff away, but I can't until we get Blake's crib put up, and we take the big dresser out of the bedroom that we don't need. Whenever everything is put together, I'll post pictures :)

Rob has been so helpful, and I'm so grateful for him! Every night that I've been here (except last night because he needs sleep!) he has stayed up with Blake, and I've caught up on 3 weeks of hardly any sleep. He went back to work on Monday (7AM-3PM), and in a couple of weeks he'll be hired on, making $16.50 an hour! That's gonna help us out a lot!

Blake has been doing good. He's finally up more during the day, and sleeping good at night. The only thing that sucks about that though is that I can't get anything done during the day! If I rock him to sleep, and lay him in his bassinet, he'll wake up. If I could hold him all day, I would but I have to get stuff done! I need one of those things that wrap around you so I can hold him AND be hands free! Speaking of which, he is now sleeping on my shoulder.

He's going to be one month old in 6 days. His one month check up is next Wednesday, and he has to get his hep b shot :( I can't believe how fast time is going, but I also can't wait until he's sitting up and communicating with me more.

As for myself, I stopped having bad headaches, and the last time I weighed myself I was about 112 pounds. So I still need to lose about 17 pounds if I want to get back down to 95 again. I'm still pretty self concious about my body, mainly my thighs and hips. My stomach is getting pretty flat again, besides a few flaws I need to tone up, and those nasty little stretch marks that creeped up on me the last couple of weeks. I looked online, and it said they take about 6-12 months to fade. Ouch. At least by next summer they'll be gone, and I'll hopefully be looking better! Rob doesn't seem to mind at all though. He's been so caring.

I'm still trying to get down to my goal weight by our wedding in October, but unfortunatly I can't work out until after my 6 week check up, which is the 25th! I'vebeen TRYING to eat better. Key word "trying". The first couple of weeks I had no appetite and didn't eat much at all. I'm still trying to eat less. We just don't have any healthy food here right now.

On Sunday we went over to Rob's grandparents so everyone could meet/see Blake again. His cousin was there with their baby boy, and he is so big! He's 10 weeks and 12 pounds.

  1. You look great! Stretch marks will fade, don't worry..My ass looks like a tiger, and so do the front of my thighs so you're definitely not alone! Blake is seriously SO cute! I'm glad everything is settling in well at the new apartment! :) I can't wait for Audrey to get a little older so she's more awake during the day, lol.
