I am officially in my late 20's! Eek.. I used to dread getting older, but it really doesn't seem so bad anymore. Especially with all of the great things coming into my life. I'm sure if I wasn't going to be a mom I'd still feel down about getting old, but that's not the case anymore.
I didn't do what I had planned to do on my birthday, because Rob was sick this week. I wanted to go to El Ranchorito and to the movies. But since I stayed at my mom's, she made it enjoyable as possible. She got me my favorite; a chicken strip basket from Dairy Queen, and made me a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. I of course, was asked to decorate my own cake though lol. She's not steady with writing on it. Got sung happy birthday to, and she gave me money. I also got a card in the mail from Rob's grandma, with a $25 gift card to Walmart also. How sweet!
Rob's dad just commented on my facebook and said that they'd like to take us out to eat when I'm back in Mt. Vernon. I appreciate so much niceness, but I feel bad when people do so much for me! I hope they realize that I do appreciate everything his family does for me. I'm so weird.
