34 Week Update

How far along? 34 weeks.

Size of baby: I'm going to guess around or a little over 4 lbs.

Total weight gain: I got weighed at the hospital last night and I'm 123 pounds :( How did I manage to gain 5 pounds in a week?!

Stretch marks? None on my stomach.

Skin, Hair & Nails: Same as the last few weeks.

Sleep: I can get to sleep with no trouble. Staying asleep and sleeping in are a different story.

Best moment this week: It's actually been a scary week. I'll explain at the bottom of this post.

Miss anything? Being comfortable and pain free. Can't wait to have him!

Movement: He's not as active, but I read that he'll start slowing his movements down the bigger he gets. He likes to kick off of my right side and push his little butt up though :)

Food cravings: Caffiene :/ But according to the paper I got last night I can't have any the rest of my pregnancy.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.

Gender: Baby boy.

Labor signs: Yes.

Symptoms: I had lots of pressure and contractions last night.

Belly button in or out? In. I really don't see it popping out at this point.

Belly button ring in or out? Out, but still pierced. I poke it through everyday.

Wedding rings on or off? On. No swelling thankfully.

Can you see your toes? Not if I look directly down.

Happy or moody most of the time: I'm trying not to be moody.

Looking forward to: Having him.

So about 30 minutes to an hour after Rob and I had sex last night, I started feeling a ton of pressure in my waist and my back, butt, and the top back part of my legs were in so much pain that I could barely walk or even sit down on the toilet to pee. After a while, I woke Rob up and told him he needed to take me to the emergency room. We got there around 9PM and they immediatly took me to the OB in a wheel chair. I peed in a cup and changed into one of those ugly ass gowns. I got strapped up and they monitored Blake's heart beat and my contractions. Come to find out, I'm dilated to a 2 and was having contractions. She gave me a really painful shot in my arm (not being a baby about it either, it SERIOUSLY hurt) to stop the contractions and I got released. I didn't think this could happen at 34 weeks so I came to Mt. Vernon to stay with Rob for one last week. Looks like I'll be leaving early and sticking around my hospital!
