Rob had an interview today at Select Remedy, a temp place that helps you get hired on places. Well, he got a job at General tire, throwing tires. One of the highest paying jobs there. It's only for 90 days to see if he'll be able to get hired on though. He'll start off making $10 an hour for 40 hours a week. Sounds like good news, right?
Well now we're stuck in Mt. Vernon if he gets hired on fully. He's really excited about it, but guess what? I'M NOT. I don't know how many times I've told him I DO NOT want to live in Mt. Vernon. It's a disgusting, over crowded town. The crime rate is high. So now what?
I'm trying to think of the bright side of things.. He'll be making more money, so we'll possibly be able to make more trips to Highland. We'll be able to afford more things, possibly a better apartment. At least I'm sure the hell hoping. I don't want to spend the rest of my life in Mt. Vernon though. I don't even want to go back with him now for a week.. I'm glad he'll be able to see his family, while I'm missing mine like crazy and probably dealing with post pardum depression because I'll be unhappy as fuck.
