I had a conversation with my friend Casey this morning, because her and her husband have been through a lot more struggles than I could imagine, and are still together. It made me realize so many things.
For one, I need to appreciate Rob more and what he does for us and our baby. He goes to work everyday at a job where he's hardly getting by. I let him know today just how much I appreciate him. I told him that we need to work through hard times because we made a commitment to eachother. Every couple will have hard times, and it's so easy to just give up and that's not what we want. We are on the same page, and are willing to make things work through these hard stressful times.
I was watching Joel Osteen this morning, and he made a lot of good points. Things will come your way, and they will be hard. But it's up to you to either stay on that chapter, reading it over and over, or move on to the next and see what God has in store for you. Every struggle that is thrown your way is to help you in the long run. I know me and Rob can make it and I feel confident in saying that.
We are going to have our own family very soon, and that is something to be so joyous and happy about. I know once we look at that baby for the first time and hear it cry our lives will change and we will see things in a whole new light.
So no matter how hard things get, remember the commitment you made to one another. Don't give up with out a fight because it will make you stronger and learn from eachother in the end.
I deleted my other posts, because I want to make a fresh start and not look back at how selfish I was sounding.
